Equator

jorgenfromnorway One of the premier "Goa" albums of all time, in my opinion. Such an eclectic mix of ambient, Goa'ish and just damn fine electronic music. It's not as 'immediate' as many of the Etnica albums, which in turn means you can listen to it for years, and still find new small things (like I have now across three decades). An eternal album, I love it deeply, and will never grow tired of it. Favorite track: History.

about

Etnica's 3rd full album, Equator, was groundbreaking for 1999. Their previous 2 classic albums are absolute highlights within the melodic goa-trance genre. Time to do something different they must have thought! Equator has ambient, agressive darkish goa-trance, breakbreat influenced tracks and of course, magical melodies in a 1999 jacket. For open minded psychedelic music lovers this album is another unique gem! This album kept the original mastering.
